Mongolia Timeline
1206-63 - Genghis Khan and his sons, grandsons lead the Mongol army. They have created the biggest empire "The Mongol Empire".
1636 - The Qing Empire overpower the southern Mongols, creating Inner Mongolia in China.
1911 - The Qing Dynasty fall and the Outer Mongolia declares freedom and independence.
1919- The Chinese army takes over Outer Mongolia.
2005 May - MPRP candidate Nambaryn Enkhbayar was chosen in the presidential election.
2005 November - President George W Bush becomes the first US President to visit Mongolia.
2007 November - Prime Minister Miyeegombo Enkhbold retires. The MPRP leader Sanjagiin Bayar replaced his place.
2013 June - President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj from the Democratic Party wins a second term as president of Mongolia.
2014 November- The Parliament elects Chimed Saikhanbileg as prime minister in the opposition of the People's Party.
